Cozumel, a mostly undeveloped Mexican island in the Caribbean Sea, is famed for its scuba diving as well as its quaint little downtown area with good food and entertainment. Some very nice beaches are accessible with an excursion.
Belize City, once the capital of British Honduras offers a unique change of scenery with its beach bars, restaurants and attractions.
The Cayman Islands is known for its luxurious beaches, fine dining, and picturesque weather, and while you can spend extravagantly, it’s not a prerequisite for experiencing Cayman.
