San Juan Peurto Rico offers many sites worth visiting. It is recommended to stay an extra night and this will also allow you to discover the many secrets of this colonial town.
Nested on the Carebean sea, La Romana is located about half ways between Punta Cana with its world renowned beaches and Santo Domingo with its famed UNESCO sites having been the capital of Spanish Carabeans for several centuries. Closer to La Romana, the Sanoa Island excursion is a favorite of many.
Philipsburg is the capital of the Dutch side of the Island with its many restaurants and bars along Grace Bay. An excursion around the island will allow you to travel to the French side as well as to Maho Beach where the planes land right over your head!
Mindelo Cape Verde, a quaint little town with a romantic setting, is located about 15 minutes walking distance from the cruise port of Porto Grande. Its restaurants and bars along its cobblestone streets will surely please many. Many excursions are available at this port of call to discover all the beauty this island has to offer.
In Tererife, the Teide mont aerial tramway will allow you to get awesome views of the island. You may also prefer to visit the old city of Santa Cruz or the beautifull Las Teresitas beach.
Las Palmas de Gran Canaria is known for its duty-free shopping. The Las Canteras protected beach is within walking distance for the cruise port and in the heart of the old city.

On the Atlantic coast in the South of Morocco, Agadir lies directly on the crescent beach with its seaside promenade with its restaurants and cafés/bars.
With its unique blend of French and Mauresque architechure, its unique food, the "marché central" or the Haboos Souq, Casablanca will definatly provide you with a change of scenery. While there, consider visitng the Hassan II mosque, the largest in the world where non muslims are welcomed inside.
In South-West Spain, the port city of Cadiz was the principal point of departure for most of Spain's great expeditions. The harbour is located directly in the heart of this 9th century town and makes discovering it on foot a breeze.
